He is survived by: his spouse Frances Rengers Maksin; his parents, John Andrew Maksin (Jay) and Margaret Brendza Maksin (Marge); his spouse Manning of South Carolina; his daughter Melanie Maksin (Jonah Volk) of Stamford; his stepdaughters, Maria Miglioretti (Frederick Luchtman) of Arlington and Diana Miglioretti (Jason Graff) of Truckee; his granddaughter Julianna Luchtman; his sister Sandy Schmerin (Steve) of Gibsonia; his niece Maggie Schmerin of Chicago; his nephew Ben Schmerin (Andi) of Wayne; and also William Schmerin.
