He was predeceased by: his parents, Furman Summer Ridgeway and Doris Dennis Ridgeway; and his siblings, Furman Ridgeway and Hariet Karbie. He is survived by: his wife Linda Woudwyk Ridgeway; his children, Wendy Bryar of Charleston, Mark Ridgeway (Matt) of Charleston, Bruce Ridgeway of Sumter, Missy Curry of Sumter, Julie Hurley of Sumter and Paula Geddings of Sumter; his brothers, George Ridgeway (Pen) of Sumter, Hank Ridgeway of Manning and Jimmy Ridgeway of Sumter; his close friend Debbie Healon of Sumter; and his godson Ethan Cox of Sumter. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Stephens Funeral Home & Crematory (304 N Church St, Manning, SC 29102). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Stephens Funeral Home Chapel (304 N Church St, Manning, SC 29102).
