Calvin Wesley Hyatt Obituary
MANNING - Calvin Wesley Hyatt 74, husband of Grace Marchica Hyatt, went to be with his lord and savior Jesus Christ on January 1, 2022.
Born on August 4th, 1947, in Poughkeepsie N.Y. He was the son of the late Everett Grover Hyatt and the late Katherine Viola Deyo.
Calvin honorably served his country in Vietnam. He went on to become employed at IBM where he eventually retired and then became employed by N.Y.S. Department of Corrections as an officer. On the side, he was an avid musician who loved playing the drums. Calvin was also a devoted member of several Baptist churches throughout his life and as a committed Christian.
Calvin was a devoted husband and father who enjoyed the simpler things in life. Just being with his family was more than enough for him. He loved boating, bike rides and long walks around his lake house in upstate N.Y. His greatest love was for God and his country. He treated everyone he met with kindness, patience, and respect.
In addition to his wife are his two sons, Paul Hruscik and his wife Grace; Peter Hruscik and his wife Jeannie; three sisters, Lonnie, Linda and Joan; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Michele Thonn and two brothers; Bucky and Bill Hyatt.
There will be no services at this time.
