She was predeceased by: her husband Robert L. Whiting; her parents, Otis Douglas Martindale and Viola May Reynolds Martindale; her son Robert L. Whiting, Jr.; and her siblings, Norman Martindale and Joyce Keays.
She is survived by: her daughters, Christine L. Cummings (William) of Manning and Melinda J. Cook of Manning; her grandchildren, Christina of Lexington, Kimberly of Lexington, Ryan of Schylerville, NY and Travis of Gansevoort, NY; her siblings, Bascom Elms of New York, Arlene Austin of Manning, Gwen Thomas (Wayne) of Queensbury, NY and Glenda Wadleigh of Glens Falls, NY; and her friend Whiting. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
