In the vast expanse of eternity, Ben Sawyer shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Ben Sawyer farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Carroll Poole and Pina Holladay; and his siblings, John Matthew Holladay, Jasper Carroll Holladay and Agnes Geddings.
He is survived by: his daughter Charlie H. Emerson (James) of Summerville; his grandchildren, Olivia Emerson of Summerville and Jay Sawyer Emerson of Summerville; and his sister Doris Potter of Texas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
