Atkinson; his grandchildren, Sahquan, Shanaz, Myeia and Jasmin; his great grandchild Brandon; and his sisters, Bettye Wood, Mabel Wells, Gaynell Crumpton, Helen Herndon and Nadine Battera. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
