He is survived by: his children, Tony Newman (Barbara) of Belton, SC and Donna Newman of Hanahan, SC; his grandchildren, Nicky Tasby, Joshua Douglas Newman (Brittnay), Joseph Daniel Newman (Courtney) and Christopher David Newman (Jerri Ann); and his great grandchildren, Lexi Marie Coker, Willow Kristine Newman and Christopher David Newman, Jr..
