He was predeceased by: his son Gentry LaVar Bryant; his siblings, Eugene Bryant and Joyce May; and his grandson Damarest Jackson Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Bryant of Lynchburg; his children, Damarest Jackson Sr. (Yolanda) of Whiteville, NC, Tonya Dews (Josh) and Tempest Bryant; his grandchildren, Paige Bryant, Jordan Bryant, Brendalyn Bryant, Tikia Bragg, Dazavier Jackson and Damario Jackson; his great grandchildren, Mila Jackson and Paris Bragg; and his sisters, Carol Lee (Melvin) of Bronx, NY and Peggy Hudson of Princeton, NJ. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
