He is survived by: his spouse Kris Player Smith; his children, Michael Smith and Caroline Green Smith of Lynchburg; his siblings, Rev. Todd Smith (Michelle) of Charlotte, NC, Cheryl Clark (Charlie) of Camden and Michele Southerd (Gary) of Bloomington, IL; his sister-in-law Paige Moore of Landrum; and his mother-in-law June Graham of Lynchburg. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
