He is survived by: his wife Christine Jordan; his son William Chance Atkinson (Rachael); his brother Bobby Wayne Atkinson; his niece Vivian Williams (Scott); his grandchildren, Amelia Gibbs Coker (Carson Lee), Bailey Atkinson Goodson (Hayes), Garrett Gibbs (Macey), Dylan Atkinson, Hampton Beard and Mary Logan Atkinson; and his great grandchildren, Lynlee Coker and Eloise Goodson.
