With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruby W. Banister of Lyman, South Carolina, born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, who passed away on April 18, 2021 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband W. Gordon Banister; and her siblings, Coney W. Adkins, Cozie W. Lane, Woodrow Williams, Katie W. Henson, Smiley Williams and Olea W. Smith.
She is survived by: her daughter Joy B. Leonard (Mark); her grandchildren, Hannah L. Walker (T. J.), Seth Leonard and Jesse Leonard; her great grandchild Daxxton Walker; and her sister Evelyn W. Allen. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
