She was predeceased by: her parents, Sabina Mercado and Juan Mercado; and her siblings, Johnny Mercado and Leonides Mercado of Martino. She is survived by: her children, Luis Virgilio Mendez (Leann), Maribel Aurora Thompson, Ricardo Juan Mendez (Fay) and Carlos Javier Mendez; her grandchildren, Kelsey Marie Mendez, Rosalyn Marie Thompson, Chris Orazio Thompson, Juan Stavros Mendez, Aggelo Ricardo Mendez and Sofia Rosalina Mendez; and her brothers, Jose Mercado, Juan Mercado and Marcelo Mercado.
