It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Lanford (Lyman, South Carolina), born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, who passed away on September 4, 2018, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brothers, Bobby Lanford, Hugh Lanford and Billy Lanford. He is survived by: his wife Faye Pruitt Lanford of Lyman; his daughter Christine Lanford Hall (Russell Hall) of Campobello, SC; his granddaughter Hannah Grace Hall; and his sister Kathy Lanford Thomas (Bobby Thomas).

Flowers are accepted or in lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Wellford Baptist Church Playground Fund, 235 Syphrit Road, Wellford, SC 29385.
