Novyce was loved and cherished by many people including: parents, Bernice Moore Carter of Hemingway and Clifford Carter; children, Cindy Kirby of Lyman and Richard King of Lyman; brother Travis Carter of Hemingway; grandchildren, Stephen Kirby, Kaci Hensley and J. C. King; great grandchildren, Declan and Gwynneth Violet Hensley; and daughter Allison Gonzalez.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Duncan United Methodist Church, 139 West Main Street, Duncan, SC 29334.
