She was predeceased by: her parent José Manuel Velázquez Correa; and her daughter Maria "Marilyn" Toro. She is survived by: her children, Marta Toro, Evelyn Toro, Miguel Toro (Madeline), José Lopez (Maria), Mario Muñoz (Ana), Edilia "Mara" Garcia (Eddie Craine) and Lydia Rivera. She is also survived by thirty grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
