He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Clarence and Earline Alexander Cochrum. He is survived by: his wife Judy Stroupe Cochrum; his children, Amanda Newman (Scott) of Greer, Brian Cochrum (Cassandra) of Senoia and Sheila Davis of Lyman; his sister Joan Rector (Steve) of Holly Springs; and his grandchildren, Brycen Newman, Greyson Newman, Harper Newman, Lilly Cochrum, Abigail Cochrum and Solomon Cochrum.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Friendship Baptist Church (1600 Holly Springs Rd, Lyman, SC 29365). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
