He is survived by: his daughter Cheryl Deese (Ricky); his grandchildren, Kyle Deese (Kaitlin), Aaron Deese (Amber), Braiden Deese (Madison Newton) and Jessica Hammett Caldwell (Donald); his great grandchildren, Kennedy Ford Deese, Camden Deese, Emmersyn Deese, Clayton Caldwell, Mackenzie Caldwell and Elsie Caldwell; and his sister Shelb Hammett Harris.
