She was predeceased by: her parents, Laura Annis Powell and James Martin Ward; and her husband Donald K. West. She is survived by: her son Donald K. West Jr.; her daughter-in-law Sherri Hammett West; her grandchildren, Justin West and Eliza Barnwell (Tyler); her great grandchildren, Paul Eugene Barnwell, Cole James-Lee Barnwell and Nellie Alice Barnwell; her nephew Brian Morrow; and her sister Judy Sellars.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Friendship Baptist Church Children's Playground Fund, 1600 Holly Springs Rd. Lyman, SC 29365.
