He was predeceased by: his parents, Kent Ryder and Nina Shipman; his grandchild Demetre; his sister Norma Davis; his stepbrother Larry Chappell; and his stepmother Wanda Ryder.
He is survived by: his children, Tabitha Marie Ryder and Carson Ryder; his grandchildren, Daisy, Desiree and Zay; his siblings, Mary Bowen, Diane Vannoy, David Ryder, Michael Ryder, Gary Ryder, Nelson Ryder, Ray Ryder, Timmy Ryder, Renee Carpenter, Juanita Proffitt, Junior Chappell and Carolyn Thompson; and his stepfather Charles Shipman. He is also survived by many step children, many nieces and nephews.
