He is survived by: his wife Darlene Brown Sims; his children, Marsha Sims Justice (Doug), Kim Laws (Jerry) and Jim Pearson; and his siblings, Kenneth Sims (Jean) and Carolyn Howard. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
