He is survived by: his wife Sandra Simmons Kirk; his children, Jeremy Kirk (Paula) of Greer, Joshua Kirk of Greer, Stacy Kirk of Statesboro and Tracy Lewis of Sylvania, Georgia; his sister Bea Bailes of Florida; his grandchildren, Mikayla, Thomas, Margaret, Anne Marie and Rusty; and also Billy Simmons of Lyman. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Wood Mortuary Chapel (300 W Poinsett St, Greer, SC 29650).
