It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henry Grady King (Lyman, South Carolina), who passed away on April 12, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father John L.; his stepmother Lillian Bell King; his wife Virginia Gilbert King; his son Bobby King; and his siblings, J. C., Carl, Calvin, David King, Emma King Lieberman, Ann King Kirk and Callie King Bridges.
He is survived by: his children, Patsy Knighton (Terry) of Woodruff, SC, Dianne Fisher of Woodruff, SC, Debbie King (John) of Charlotte, NC, Mike King (Dianne) of Spartanburg, Betty Jo Durkin (Sam) of Spartanburg and Mitchell King (Jenny) of Spartanburg; and his siblings, Judy King Payne of Greenville, SC, John L. King, Jr. of Greenville, SC and Paul Manly of Roebuck, SC.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Grady's beloved church would be his sole/soul wish and greatest desire (Southport Church, P.O).
