It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geneva Powell Farmer of Lyman, South Carolina, who passed away on December 19, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Carroll Wilton Farmer; her father William "Bill" Powell; and her siblings, Lucille Powell, Earline Golightly, Grace Wilson, Christine Littlejohn, Raymond Powell and Frank Powell.

She is survived by: her daughter Elizabeth "Beth" Waldrop (Scott) of Lyman; her grandchildren, Lauren W. Canup (Kendal) and Brooke Waldrop; and her great grandchild McKinley Canup.
