It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred Dobbins of Lyman, South Carolina, who passed away on April 5, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hollis Lee and Blanche Wilson Dobbins; his son Brian Andrew Dobbins; and his siblings, Stephen Dobbins and Brenda Bell.

He is survived by: his wife Patty Taylor Dobbins; his son Kyle Dobbins of Asheville; his daughter-in-law Kristy Dobbins Henderson of Lyman; his brother Joe Dobbins (Diana) of Greer; his sister-in-law Nancy Green; his grandchildren, Austin Dobbins of Lyman, Brianna Dobbins of Lyman, Zachary Dobbins of Lyman and Aiden Henderson of Lyman; and his niece Cheryl Couch.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:45 PM at the Wood Mortuary, Inc. (300 W Poinsett St, Greer, SC 29650). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Wood Mortuary Chapel (300 W Poinsett St, Greer, SC 29650).
