She was predeceased by: her parents, William Edward and Buena White Middlebrooks. She is survived by: her husband Herman Zane Pittman; her son James E. Pittman of Lyman; her stepdaughter Melissa Van Emon of Churubusco, Indiana; and her grandchildren, James "Jimmy" Sterling Ostler IV and Jarred Zane Ostler.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wildlife Preservation charties of one's choice.
