He is survived by: his children, Melissa "Missy" Owens (Scott Tower) and Edward "Jason" Burnett, Jr. (Michelle); his grandchildren, Ashley Johnson (Brandon), Amaya, Abby and Anika Burnett; his great grandchildren, Konnor and Adalynn Johnson; his stepsons, David and Michael Lawter; and his siblings, Vicki B. Sanders (Ray), Kathy Burnett Patton (Chance) and Lucky Burnett McSwain (Joan).
