She was predeceased by: her parents, Ola Miller and Leo Miller, Sr.; her husband Melvin McCollum, Jr.; and her siblings, Truman, Troy, Roy, Paul, Loe, Jr., Shirley Howard and Ruth Ellen Thompson.
She is survived by: her children, Samuel L. McCollum (Penny) of Greer, SC, Cynthia A. Irby of Boiling Springs, SC and Ellen L. Polite (Victor) of Dacula, GA; her granddaughters, Sierra and Brianna Irby; her great grandchildren, Haiden, Harlynn Martin and Titan Dewberry; and her sister Mamie Gooden of Spartanburg.
