Delia Hunter Neely Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Delia Hunter Neely (Lyman, South Carolina), born in Jackson, South Carolina, who passed away on August 27, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Hunter and Sibbie Speed Hunter; and her aunt Edith Hunter Hawkins. She is survived by: her daughters, Lynn O'Dwyer (Bob O'Dwyer) of Cashiers and Gloria Neely of Campobello, SC; her granddaughters, Kaylee Neary (DJ Neary) and Ashlee Zachary (Dillon Zachary); and her siblings, Grover Hunter (Leola Hunter) and Phoebe Queen. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made in Delia's honor to Cashiers United Methodist Church's Scholarship fund or the Cashiers-Highlands Humane Society.
