He was predeceased by: his son Leland Loftis; his grandchildren, Greg Taylor and Scott Taylor; his great grandchild Devin Taylor; and his son-in-law Joe Quinn.
He is survived by: his children, Hilda Quinn of Taylors and Ira Loftis (Judy) of Taylors; and his brothers, Jack Loftis of Lyman and Larry Loftis of Union. He is also survived by two brothers; five sisters.
