He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend George Lynch of Washington and Rachel McGuinn Lynch. He is survived by: his children, Scott Lynch (Lisa), Mark Lynch (Tricia) and Kristen Lynch of Inman, SC; his sister Jewell Huntsinger (Mike) of Sunny View; his stepbrother William Rice of Asheville; his stepgranddaughter Heather Burnett; and his granddaughters, Raegan (Ryan), Oliva and Pereira.
