With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Adolph Dobson of Luray, South Carolina, who passed away on September 16, 2022 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Lee Dobson and Lillie Maude Tuten Dobson; and his brother Eddie Dobson. He is survived by: his wife Clara Ethel Hughes Dobson of Luray; his sons, Dewayne E. Dobson (Theresa) of Brunson, George M. Dobson (Vivian) of Hilton Head and Paul Daniel Dobson of Brunson; and his sisters, Linda Dobson Braxton of Tennessee, Joyce Dobson Collins Weir of Hampton and Ernestine Dobson Harter Glenn of Hampton. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
