He is survived by: his wife Betty Smith Cook of Hampton; his children, Donald Jay Cook (Ricki Lynn) of Columbus, GA, David Bryan Cook (Rhonda) of Chapin, SC and Kristy Cook Wood (Mikel) of Beaufort, SC; his grandchildren, Sydney Cook, Daniel Cook (Caroline), Adam Cook, Morgan Wood Peeples (Chase), Justin Cook, Madison Wood, Andrew Cook and Matthew Cook; and his siblings, Linda Cook (Marvin) of Hampton, James, Oswald, Billy, Claude, Mary Atkins and Shirley Varnon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
