He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Humphrey Cassady; his parents, Tommy Lee and Minnie Mae Bradley Cassady; his son-in-law Tappy Walters; and his siblings, Billy Webb, Henry Cassady, Thelma Jackson, Polly Walden and Kay Cahill.
He is survived by: his children, Tony Cassady (Beverly) of Cassatt, Robin Walters of Camden, Kent Cassady (Melissa) of Cassatt and Glenda Robinson (Tommy) of Cassatt; his sisters, Virginia Williams and Margaret Holley; his friend Beth Drummond; and his caregiver Darlene Dixon. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
