She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Richard and Lila LeGrand Kirkland; her siblings, Henry Richard Kirkland Sr., James Kirkland, Danny J. Kirkland (Linda), Sam W. Kirkland, Duncan Kirkland, Minnie Motley, Nettie Mae Cameron and Sallie Bell O'Quinn; and her brother-in-law Nelson Rhodes.

She is survived by: her close friend Frankie Branham; her children, Tammy Turner (Brad) of Elgin and Bubba Branham (Barbara Robinson) of Lugoff; her siblings, Edna Martin, Daisy Rhodes and Cotton Kirkland (Dee); her sisters-in-law, Myra Kirkland, Peggy Kirkland and Mary Nell Branham; her grandchildren, Hunter Brice Branham and Laura Turner; and her great grandchild Braxton Branham. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
