He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Sandy McDonald; his wife Peggy Mae Shock Wilke; his children, Brady Wilke (Nicole) of Columbia, Casey Pearson (Jon Baskin) of Elgin, Michael Walsh of Portland, OR, Sara Tomlinson (Steven) of West Columbia and Jamie Hunnicutt (Michael) of Weaverville, N. C.; his siblings, Iris Wilke, John Wilke (Ophie), Marshall Wilke (Lynda), Becky Wilke (Kent Langseth), Cele Wilke, Leslie Wilke (Marsha) and Kevin Wilke; his grandchildren, Haley Pearson, Maxwell Sims, Natalie Sims, Ava Wilke, Anderson Wilke, Maggie Hunnicutt, Colin Hunnicutt and Parker Hunnicutt; and his sisters, Carol Wilke and Karen Wilke Walsh.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John Neumann Catholic Church.
