He was predeceased by: his spouse Beverly Johnson; his parents, Moses Brunson, Jr. and Beatrice Blocker Brunson; his grandson Jayden Jackson; and his siblings, Willie Brunson and Moses Brunson.
He is survived by: his children, Tamara Johnson and Travis Johnson; his stepdaughters, Amanda Johnson and Felicia Johnson; his grandchildren, Tanieya Johnson, Ja'Zya Johnson, Taijun Johnson, Cameron Pickett, Mar'Kahja Jackson, Za'Mari Jackson, Mahagony Johnson, Starnesha Adamson, Tielisha Johnson and VaLicia Wise; his great grandchild Ya'Moni Pittman; and his siblings, James Chambers, John Blocker (Geneva), Estelle Brunson (Lymon) and George Brunson (Melissa). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Powers Funeral Home (832 Ridgeway Rd, Lugoff, SC 29078).
