He is survived by: his children, Robert Smith Riggs of Williamsville, NY, Virginia Lynn Saibene (Norm) of Canton, OH, James Freels (Patricia) of Winfield, TN and Angela Spradley Koumas (Mike) of Lugoff, SC; his grandchildren, Christopher Riggs, Robert Riggs, Steven Riggs, Isabella Riggs, Brittney Shields, Shelly Shields, Ronald Duguary, Dalton Freels (Liv), Jordan Freels, Peyton Freels, Elizabeth Hammond (Jeremy), Trey Spradley (Ashley), Brandon Spradley, Gage Koumas, Blair Koumas Hall (Will) and Brook Koumas; his great grandchildren, Aria Riggs, Amaya Shields, Giovanni Shields, Finn Freels, Ella Freels, Eva Freels, Tanner Hammond and Macie Hammond; and his wife Mattie Freels Riggs.
