She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Davenport and Malinda Davenport; and her former husband Milton Newton Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Alton Hardee; her daughters, Linda Newton Borovich (Michael), Wanda Newton Vilches (Juan) and Ronda Newton Braley (Edward); her sister Phyllis Ellis; her sister-in-law Shirley Davenport; her stepson Fulmer Shealy (Joyce); and also, Angela Smith (David), Mary Ann Jones (Ray) and Paul Shealy (Summer).
