She was predeceased by: her parents, James Brantley and Rae Stokes King. She is survived by: her husband Rev. John Mims; her daughters, Sheila Mims (Phillip Mims) and Sherri Mims (Marc Anglade); her brother James Brantley "Jim" King, Jr. of Edisto Beach; and her grandchildren, Hallie Anglade, Phillip Justin Mims and Sydney Renee Mims.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Epworth Children's Home.
