She is survived by: her husband James Albert Charles; her sons, Tony Harris, Edward Harris and James Harris; her siblings, Henry Harris, Randolph Harris and Mary Jefferson; her grandchildren, Jeroy Ellis, Jessica McCain, Joshua Pringle, Serlena Goodwin, Jy'Quavion Malik and Nyheasia Barber; and her great grandchildren, Jeremaih McCain, Janasia Fairley, Amore Ellis and Jasia Ellis.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
