She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Leslie Kirkland and Emily Nettles Kirkland; her sons, Mike McPherson, Randy McPherson and Scott McPherson; her stepson Brian Colvin; and her brothers, J. W. Kirkland, Rev. Arlin Kirkland and Phillip Kirkland.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Wayne Colvin; her children, Terrie Allred (Bobby) and Ricky McPherson; her sister Nadine Boyd (Milton); and her sister-in-law Brenda Kirkland. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sawney's Creek Baptist Church.
