It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mae Doughty of Lugoff, South Carolina, who passed away on August 16, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, J. C. Denmark and Eueline Stewart Denmark; her husband Arthur Welling Doughty, III; her sister Frances Humphrey; and her daughter-in-law Debbie Doughty.
She is survived by: her children, Alan Doughty (Shigeko) of San Diego, CA, Todd Doughty, NJ and Kimberly Wiggins (Donald) of Lugoff, SC; her grandsons, James Doughty, Coleman Doughty (Kathryn), Brian Doughty, Todd Doughty, II (Kelly), Kristopher Doughty, James Wiggins (Tresa) and Jonathan Wiggins (Bethany); and her sisters, Marilyn Werner of McDonough, GA and Janice Vance of Statesboro, GA. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
