He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Van Mills and Louise Anderson Mills; and his siblings, Lou Vandella Mills, Harry Mills and Martha Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Alice Branham Mills; his children, Debbie Weatherford (Ronnie) of Little River and Joel Mills (Charlotte) of Lugoff; his grandchildren, Ashley Steele (Tyson), Kyle Mills, Amanda Weatherford (Matt Miller) and Lauren Boykin (Erik); and his great grandchildren, Macy Mills, Adley Boykin, Kaden Steele, Sage Steele and Bauer Boykin. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
