She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Hazel Tolbert and Doris Morgan Tolbert; her former husband Charles Edward Burns; her daughter Donna Sturkie Elliott; and her brothers, Henry Frank Tolbert and Barry Keith Tolbert.
She is survived by: her husband Charles "Chuck" Buseck; her children, Rhonda Sturkie Brazell of Elgin, John M. Johnson, Jr. (Brandee) of Lugoff and Timothy Brian Johnson (Vanessa) of Beaufort; her grandchildren, Katie Elliott King, Neco Dylan Barnes, Laken Necole Barnes, Joshua Garth Brown, Avery Grace Johnson, Timothy Blake Johnson, Tayler Ashton Johnson, Allie Elizabeth Boyce and Anna Elise Boyce; her great grandchildren, Justin Gordon, Taylor King, Landon King, Declan Davidson and Carson Coates; her sister Dale Cooper (Rick) of Lexington; and her stepdaughters, Charlene, Jennifer and Lisa.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
