He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hershel and Thelma Louise Patterson; his spouse Merilee Gene Patterson; and his siblings, Ella Fay Harless and Hershel Eugene Patterson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Lynn Medina (Michael) and GinaMaria Jensen (Mike, Sr.); his grandchildren, Mycal Medina, Jr. (Nicole), Kayla Pendergrass, Miranda Pendergrass, Michael Jensen, Jr., Kia Alspach and Kristopher Medina (Sarah); and his great grandchildren, Loralie Vaccaro, Mycal Medina III, Kora Hale, Levi Tedder, Ellie Polley-Perez and Ezio Jensen.
