He was predeceased by: his parents, James Dunnie Ray and Mary Chesser Ray. He is survived by: his close friend Sylvester; his sons, Kenneth Ray Jr. (Lindsay) of Winnsboro and Timmy Ray of Lugoff; and his grandson Nathan Ray of Elgin.
