He is survived by: his wife Anne Smith Melanson; his children, Catherine Perry (Joe), Daniel Melanson (Brenda), Stephen Melanson (Nikki), Paul Melanson and Andrew Melanson; and his sister Mary McManana (Tom). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
