He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren "Pete" Charles Melville and Luella Scarlett Melville; and his siblings, Bobby Melville and Terry West. He is survived by: his wife Felicia Ann Pritzen Melville; his children, Johnny Melville, Jason Heinrichs, Anthony Melville, Benjamin Melville, Tasha Carter (Ethan), Sarah Melville, Joselin Melville, Kassi Melville, Olivia Melville, Michelle Melville, Larissa Melville and Emma Melville; his grandchildren, Vaida Carter, Owen Carter, Miguel Melville, Noah Melville, Ava Melville and Bryson Melville; and his sisters, Cindy Egnor and Barbara Springsteen.
