She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Rhodes and Naomi Stanley Rhodes; her husband Robert James Smith; and her sister Arlene Rhodes Jordan. She is survived by: her daughter Pamela Anastasi; her grandchildren, Joseph Johnson, Brendon Johnson (Chloe), Kyle Smith, Tyler Smith and Hunter Smith; and her sister Priscilla Rhodes Campbell.
