He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara S. Hollis; his parents, Jesse Hollis Sr. and Maybell Hollis; his stepson Darrick Smiley; and his brothers, Jesse Calvin Hollis, George Edward Hollis, John Benjamin Hollis and Carl Jefferson.
He is survived by: his daughter Lakeia Hollis Kinard of Camden; his siblings, Susie Spriggs, David Hollis, Ida Jones, Jacqueline Williams and Joyce Johnson; and his grandchildren, Kent Goodwin Jr., Dontrell Smiley and Durell Smiley.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
